Doing a Staging Radio Show

One way to build your clientele is to host your own radio show. Many small broadcasting companies have air time to sell and might welcome a 15-30 minute show.

The important thing to remember is not to make your show one long commercial. That is a fast track to failure.

Instead, use the show to give away helpful information, not only about staging, but about selling homes in general, some decorating tips, features about related products and services that you would recommend and so forth.

You want to come across as a "friend", a trusted advisor - not a salesperson just out to promote your services.

Forget about making money. Give the kind of information on your show that you would want to receive if you were a listener. It will come back to you in multiple ways. At the very end of the show, give a low-key tag line about how listeners can get more information.

Give them a phone number to call or a website to visit.
